Every month we eagerly await Skin Tight (formerly Dirty Soul), the dance party hosted by Landis Expandis, of the All Mighty Senators, at The Crown. Expandis is known for his vinyl selection spanning multiple decades and unparalleled collection of boomboxes. He’s not stuck on one era to be repeated every month, mixing in soul, disco, and straight-up funk. The unpredictability brings a new crowd to a venue in Station North known for its regulars. He also books fellow DJs with huge vinyl collections such as Mikie Love, who, according to Expandis, has “one of Baltimore's largest privately owned record collections.” Best of all, it’s free.
